Biography

Jay Litty has more than 30 years of experience in complex real estate transactions, bankruptcy, distressed property sales, contract negotiations, labor relations and construction litigation.

He has been in the commercial and residential development and construction business for 52 years. Jay was named a vice president of Leimbach Construction Company in 1973. His responsibilities included contract negotiations, labor relations and construction management. During this same period, Mr. Litty received degrees in law and business administration.

In 1981, Jay became the president and CEO of Leimbach Construction Corporation. Under his leadership, the company experienced tremendous growth, including the development and construction of five shopping centers, a post office building, and apartment complexes. The company also served as a general partner or developer in numerous residential and commercial properties.

More recently, after admission to the Bar, Jay has applied his business skills and legal training to work – out negotiations, litigation consulting, and estate issues involving real estate in Florida, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Maryland.
